Botanical Gardens at Asheville - Botanical Gardens at Asheville an enchanting place to be at, as one can observe flawlessly tended gardens is located just two miles from downtown. Botanical Gardens at Asheville focus on local flowering plants and trees and preserve for more than 600 species of plants native to the Southern Appalachians. It also features a library, a lecture room and a gift shop. It is opened every day and no admission fee is charged from the visitors.

Grandfather Mountain - Grandfather Mountain is one of the most biologically diverse mountains and it is remarked as United Nations most environmentally diverse nature preserves. One can see the phenomenon view at 360-degree from one-mile above sea level. It is the highest peak in the Blue Ridge Mountain Range.

Hammocks Beach State Park – Hammocks Beach State Park is situated in North Carolina in Onslow County. It is a pleasant place to visit and it is made of three different areas they are Jones Island, Bear Island and Huggins Island. It is the best place to rejuvenate as there are so many amusing things to do for the whole family to enjoy.

Jordan Lake State Recreation Area - Jordan Lake State Recreation Area is situated in Chatham County, North Carolina. It comprises 9 recreation areas and is well known for having loads of bald eagles. One can take part in outdoor recreation activities such as hiking, camping, picnicking, fishing, boating, canoeing, and swimming and one can also view the wildlife.
