Tourist Attractions in Delaware

Delaware is a U.S. province situated on the Atlantic Coast in the Mid Atlantic region. It is the second smallest region of United States of America still it draws numerous tourists towards its place because of its moderate climate and there are numerous tourist destinations one can visit and explore in Delaware. One can find picturesque landscapes, forest, lakes, beaches, beautiful historic sites and much more. The capital city of Delaware is Wilmington.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in Delaware is Rehoboth Beach. It is a seaside town providing all of the modern amenities. It offers a quick look of the boardwalk retreat. It stretches for more than a mile, where people can promenade down tree-lined streets. It is one of the most famous resort towns where one can enjoy time with friends and families as one can shop and dine here in this beautiful place and there is a Fun land, an amusement park nearby. One can even try various activities here such as canoeing, hunting, boating, hiking, and many more.

Delaware has numerous museums and monuments which one can explore the rich heritage of Delaware. One can visit Delaware Museum of Natural History which is one of the most visited museums in Delaware. It is located in Wilmington, Delaware. It displays on everything from local topics to African animals. There are many traveling exhibitions and special events, eminent educational programs organized here and it has dinosaurs on permanent display.

One can visit the Air Mobility Command Museum. It is positioned within the boundaries of Dover Air Force Base. This museum displays the history of military aviation through demonstrations and a generous compilation of planes that have been used throughout history.

Other popular tourist spots in Delaware are Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village, Fountain of Youth-Lewes, Delaware, Hagley Museum, The New Castle Court House Museum, Dewey Beach and Fort Christina and many more.
