Washington D.C is the capital city of United States of America. It is regarded as one of the major tourist destinations of United States as it offers a wide range of attractions with which one would relentlessly be amused and thus one would definitely be take pleasure in every minute of the vacation in the City.
There are numerous monuments, historical sites, government and official buildings, museum, cathedrals, art galleries and much more which one can visit.

Some of the popular Washington tourist destinations are

National Mall: The national mall is regarded as one of the prominent landmark of Washington DC. There is an area, lined by trees and there are other attractions for which National Mall proves to be a home like Jefferson and Lincoln, the Capitol Washington Monument Memorials of Roosevelt, Smithsonian Institution, White House and National Gallery of Art.

White House: It is oldest public building and it is the administrative headquarters and private residence of the president of USA. An US flag flies at the top of the building if the president is there in the white house. It is positioned at the side-line of the national mall it has been altered according to the preferences of various Presidents. It has become commendable of the American Presidency all over the world. The Aberdeen Museum of History - the museum was built in the year 1921 and the museum has a variety of exhibits such as a General Store, a Blacksmith shop, an old fire engine and many more.
